Bryggen (norwegisch für „Kai“) ist eine Reihe hanseatischer Geschäftsgebäude am Ostufer des Vågen-Hafens. Es ist die letzte erhaltene ehemalige Handelsniederlassung der Hanse und wurde 1979 von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt. Die Gebäude wurden nach vielen Großbränden, zuletzt 1955, anhand alter Pläne teilweise wiederaufgebaut und zeugen von der einzigartigen hanseatischen Baukunst.
